Policies

  1. Dress Code: Employees are expected to wear attire appropriate for a construction and development environment. High visibility clothing, safety boots, and helmets are mandatory on site. In office settings, business casual is the norm.
  2. Vacation: Employees are entitled to [X days] of paid vacation annually. Requests for vacation should be submitted [X weeks] in advance and approved by the respective supervisor.
  3. Employee Conduct: All employees must maintain a professional demeanor both in the workplace and when representing the company externally. Harassment, discrimination, or any form of misconduct will not be tolerated.
  4. Safety: Safety is paramount. All employees must complete mandatory safety training and adhere to all safety guidelines. Any safety concerns should be reported immediately.

  6. Drugs and Alcohol: The workplace must remain drug and alcohol free. Random tests may be conducted, and any violations can lead to disciplinary actions including termination.
  7. Attendance: Regular attendance is vital for smooth operations. Employees are expected to inform their supervisors in advance if they cannot attend work.
  8. Punctuality: Being on time is a reflection of one’s commitment and professionalism. Employees are expected to be punctual for all work-related activities.
  9. Grievances: WSD is dedicated to fostering a positive work environment. Employees with concerns or grievances can approach their immediate supervisor or the HR department for resolution. An open-door policy is maintained to ensure employees feel heard and valued.
